Regenerating Sponge City to Sponge Watershed through an Innovative Framework for Urban Water Resilience

In recent years, cities universal are advocating ‘resilience’ in terms of water-related challenges. Accompanied by the development sponge city construction, several emerging stormwater management practices prevailing worldwide. This paper proposes a regenerative argument for construction from urban scale towards watershed strengthening water resilience and sustainability. An innovative framework is established to address issues human livability via 20 conventional advanced indicators interrelations between modules resilience, resource, treatment, ecology, waterscape, management. Six representative pilot South China have been selected, compatibility divergence their guidelines revealed through pair analyses parameter calculation.
